English Plus Three
Every candidate writes Use of English and three subjects related to the course they want. The three subjects are not your choice alone. They are determined by what the university department requires.
Where to Verify
Always confirm your course requirements on the JAMB brochure and on the university's own admission page. Medicine and Surgery usually asks for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Law often asks for Literature in English, Government and CRS or IRS or History or Economics depending on the school. Engineering generally needs Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
A Common Mistake
Do not copy your friend's combination. Do not choose subjects you like over subjects the course needs. If you are unsure, list two or three schools you are targeting and choose the combination that satisfies all of them.
