Understand It
Anxiety is your body preparing for a challenge. It becomes a problem when you feel unable to think. Recognising this is the first step.
Before the Exam
Sleep well, exercise lightly, drink water and practise under timed conditions so the exam format feels familiar. Prepared students are less anxious.
During the Exam
Take three slow breaths before you start. Read each question carefully. If your mind goes blank, skip that question and return later. If anxiety feels overwhelming for long periods, speak to a counsellor or a trusted adult.
